Outfit: Oh Shift!

dress // sunnies (old, similar) // c/o tote // wedges // necklace

So, this is basically a winter outfit in Florida -- longer sleeves and closed toe shoes lol. We've had a couple of cold fronts come through, but the temps don't drop for more than a day. It is great to live in a place where no matter the weather, you can dress like it's spring!

Shifts like this are my favorite. It's like wearing pjs in public, but still looking cute. This dress is colorful and easy to wear, which makes it perfect for weekend brunches or days where you just want to be comfortable, which let's be honest is all day, every day. Am I the only one who is in her pjs and a top knot as soon as she gets home? This dress is a close second to that.

And how cute is this white coated canvas Tiny Tote? You know I love my Dagne Dover Black Tiny Tote, so when they sent me this gorgeous and fresh white one for spring, I was ecstatic!

Happy Monday!

Outfit: Friday Flare

faux leather jacket (old, similar) // top // jeans // hat // sunnies // boots (old, similar) // bag

I have always loved flared jeans. But let’s be honest, I love anything that makes me look taller. Paired with boots and hemmed to just the right length, flared jeans definitely elongate the legs. I love these Hudson flared jeans (and these Madewell jeans too) because they have just the right amount of flare -- more than a boot-leg jean (remember those), but not too much that you look like you’re wearing bell bottoms.

Also, who says you can’t wear Lilly Pulitzer year round? I love transitioning my Lilly pieces into fall and winter whenever possible. I used to be a big fan of the Else blouse, until I discovered this Tye top. It is infinitely more flattering (I think the Else has just a but too much volume for me). I really hope Lilly makes more of this style top!

Have a great weekend!

Outfit: Comfy Caftan

caftan // sunnies // bracelets // purse (old) // sandals (from Positano)

When it comes to tropical or Mediterranean travel, there is nothing better than a stylish and comfortable caftan. I snagged this Lilly Pulitzer caftan during the After Party Sale in August (thank goodness I was home for that!).

Not only was it a steal, but I also knew it would be perfect for my travels to Santorini and Ischia (sadly my plans for Croatia fell through, but the islands of Ischia and Procida proved to be a wonderful substitute).

What I love most about a great caftan when travelling is how versatile it is. It can be worn as a tunic, cover-up, or dressed up for dinner or an evening out. Yet, it is still comfy, flowy, and easy to wear in warm climates. Basically it is effortless chic.

Not only was I super comfortable exploring Santorini in my caftan (although I am sure it was a funny site on my four-wheeler), I also loved the way the pink and blue design went with the overall aesthetic of the island. Santorini is basically a sea of blue and white with the occasional splash of pink. I wore it on my second day on the island to explore the cities of Oia and Fira. You definitely want to be comfortable when exploring Santorini because there are a ton of stairs and lots of little alleyways to be investigated.

Don’t worry; if you missed snagging this Lilly caftan, there are some new versions in stock. I have also linked some more great caftan options below.

What is your go-to piece for warm weather travel?
